Short version: Adzio connects to your Google Ads account to answer questions and surface insights. We read your campaign data to do that. We never sell your data, never share it with third parties for advertising, and you can disconnect at any time.
1. Who we are
Adzio ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered assistant for Google Ads, accessible at askadzio.com. Adzio is a product of ADSHOT MEDIA LLC. Questions? Email contact@adshotmedia.com.
2. What data we collect
Google account data (via OAuth 2.0)
Your Google OAuth tokens — used solely to authenticate API calls to Google Ads on your behalf
The list of Google Ads accounts linked to your Google account (customer IDs and account names)
Google Ads account data (read from the Google Ads API)
Keyword lists, match types, and associated metrics
Search term reports
Ad group structures and responsive search ad copy (when you use the ad writer feature)
Usage data
Chat messages you send to Adzio (used to answer your question, not stored permanently)
Session data (stored in a server-side session cookie) to keep you logged in
Basic server logs (IP address, timestamp, endpoint) for debugging and security
We do not collect
Your Google account password
Financial or payment information
Customer data from your Google Ads campaigns (e.g. names or emails of people who clicked your ads)
Any data from Google services other than Google Ads
3. How we use your data
To answer your questions — your Google Ads data is sent to an AI model (OpenAI GPT-4) together with your chat message to generate a response
To show you insights — campaign performance, spend trends, and recommendations shown in the Adzio interface
To execute approved changes — if you ask Adzio to pause a keyword or update a budget, we call the Google Ads API to make that change on your behalf
To improve the service — anonymised, aggregated usage patterns (e.g. which questions are asked most) may be used to improve Adzio; your individual account data is never used for this
4. AI and third-party models
Adzio uses OpenAI's API to power its AI responses. When you send a question, a snapshot of your Google Ads data (metrics, campaign names, keywords) and your message are sent to OpenAI's servers to generate a reply. OpenAI's Privacy Policy applies to this data. OpenAI does not use API data to train its models by default.
No other AI provider receives your data.
5. Data retention
OAuth tokens — stored in encrypted session storage on our servers; deleted when you disconnect your account or your session expires
Chat messages — conversation context is held in memory for the duration of your session; it is not written to a permanent database
Server logs — retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes
Google Ads data — not stored persistently; fetched fresh from the Google Ads API on each request
6. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
OpenAI — as described in Section 4, to generate AI responses
Google — your OAuth tokens are used to call Google Ads API on your behalf
Legal requirement — if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
7. Security
OAuth tokens are stored server-side and never exposed to the browser. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS). We do not store your Google account password at any point.
Despite our precautions, no system is 100% secure. If you discover a security issue, please report it to contact@adshotmedia.com.
8. Your rights and choices
Disconnect at any time — click the disconnect button in the Adzio sidebar to revoke our access and delete your tokens from our servers. You can also revoke access in your Google Account permissions.
Data access or deletion — email contact@adshotmedia.com to request a copy of any data we hold about you, or to request deletion
Opt out of AI processing — if you disconnect your account, no further data is sent to OpenAI
9. Cookies
Adzio uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. It contains only a session identifier — no tracking, no advertising, no third-party cookies. The cookie is deleted when you disconnect or your session expires.
10. Children
Adzio is not directed at anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of Adzio after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
